FAQ

  • When is the best time to get lessons?

Winter is the best time to train because pitchers can focus entirely on mechanics, strength, and consistency without the pressure of games. This period allows athletes to rebuild movement patterns, increase velocity safely, and enter the season prepared, confident, and fundamentally stronger than before overall.

  • Is there a trial session?

Yes, I offer a free thirty-minute introductory session designed to help players and families understand the structure, expectations, and goals of training. This meeting lets you ask questions, evaluate my coaching approach, and determine whether pitching instruction is the right developmental fit for your athlete.

  • Can I bring my guardian to the lessons?

Yes, parents or guardians are always welcome to attend lessons regardless of the player’s age. Having a guardian present often helps with understanding drills, reinforcing techniques at home, and supporting consistent communication, making the training experience clearer, comfortable, and effective for the athlete’s development overall.

  • How do virtual lessons work?

Virtual lessons work by combining personalized drills with detailed weekly feedback. I send you customized exercises to complete, you record your throwing sessions, and then we review the videos together. This approach allows consistent communication, clear mechanical adjustments, and meaningful progress even without in-person training.

  • How dose payment work?

Payment is handled in person using whichever method is most convenient for you, including cash, Zelle, Apple Pay, or Venmo. I aim to make the process simple, reliable, and flexible so families can focus entirely on training without worrying about complicated billing or scheduling concerns.
